JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 9, 2022) — eTown, one of the area's fastest growing communities, received top honors from the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) at its 2021 LAUREL Awards.
The master-planned community developed by The PARC Group won two Gold Awards — the highest honor given — for "Best Community Welcome Center" and "Best Website for a Community." 
The LAUREL Awards showcase achievements in the Northeast Florida home building and real estate industries, including the contributions of builders, tradespeople, designers and sales/marketing professionals. NEFBA, the state's largest builders association, aims to support the homebuilding industry through education, training, advocacy, networking and community involvement.
Many of eTown's actively selling builders won architectural and interior design LAUREL Awards for model homes located in the community's various neighborhoods. Providence Homes, which is actively selling in Kettering at eTown, took home two awards: the Royal model won the silver for "Best Single-Family Home" and the Manatee model was awarded the gold for "Best Outdoors Living Space."
eTown was recently named the 36th Best-Selling Master-Planned Community in the Country by RCLCO Real Estate Advisors. Last year eTown celebrated the milestone of 1,000 sold homes since opening in 2019. The community experienced a 31% increase in sales over 2020, with 548 homes sold in 2021 alone.
"We've seen remarkable enthusiasm for eTown since the day it was announced," said Kelly Owen, Marketing Director for The PARC Group. "The community is centrally located with popular eco-friendly features and EV Paths, and half of its natural acreage will remain preserved."
The PARC Group announced a number of major developments at the community this past year, including a new shopping center in The Exchange. The plaza will include a Publix Super Market, Publix Liquors, Publix Pharmacy drive-thru and more. Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2023.
