Institute of Dental Implantology Coming to eTown

Jul 22, 2026 / by The PARC Group

The Institute of Dental Implantology (IDI) is opening a 20,000-square-foot facility designed to advance postgraduate dental education while expanding access to specialized dental care throughout Northeast Florida.

Located at 11251 Network Drive on the northwest side of The Exchange at eTown, adjacent to David Weekley Homes' Corporate Office and Design Center, the facility plans were first announced earlier this year. IDI will serve as the building's sole tenant accommodating both aspiring dental implant surgeons and patients seeking comprehensive dental solutions.

Founded by Jacksonville-based implant and cosmetic dentist Dr. Anthony Corral, IDI was created to provide a new model of dental education that combines advanced clinical training, expert mentorship, and real-world patient care.

A groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, marking the next step in bringing this state-of-the-art facility to life. The new IDI facility is expected to open in August 2027.

Advancing Dental Education and Patient Care

Unlike traditional continuing education programs, IDI’s fellowship is designed as an immersive, residency-style experience where doctors learn while providing care to real patients in a clinical environment. The program also incorporates practice management and business education, preparing future dental leaders with the skills needed to build successful practices.

The inaugural fellowship class of 25 doctors is expected to begin training in August 2027.

Expanding Access to Advanced Dental Care

The facility is expected to accommodate more than 12,000 patient appointments annually, helping address the growing need for comprehensive implant, surgical, sedation, and restorative dental care.

IDI is also committed to making a meaningful community impact by helping patients who have experienced long-term dental challenges or limited access to specialized care. Through advanced treatment options, the institute aims to improve both oral health and overall wellness for patients throughout Northeast Florida.

A New Addition to eTown’s Growing Community

The addition of IDI reflects eTown’s continued growth as a destination where healthcare, education, technology, and forward-thinking organizations come together. With a focus on creating a connected community built around opportunity and innovation, eTown continues to attract organizations that contribute to the region’s future.

“We are building a program and facility that not only elevates clinical training but also expands access to care for patients who need it most,” said Dr. Anthony Corral, Founder and CEO of IDI.

Designed with advanced surgical suites and collaborative learning spaces, IDI’s new facility will join Jacksonville’s growing network of premier healthcare and educational institutions while bringing new opportunities for both professionals and patients.

As construction progresses, IDI’s new facility represents another step forward in eTown’s continued evolution as a connected community designed for innovation, opportunity, and long-term growth.
