**Hi Mary Grace. Thanks for connecting with us! To start, can you tell us about what you do at eTown and what you enjoy about your role?**
Thanks for having me! It is a pleasure to be here with you today. I am the new Lifestyle Coordinator at eTown, and am most excited about getting residents involved and growing a sense of community within eTown.
**Can you take us through an average day?**
Currently, I'm spending a lot of time gathering information about current residents and what they like. I'm finding out information on great musicians we can have at our events as well as vendors we could use. I've begun laying the ground work for several different events, so we can hit the ground running (once we get the green light).
**Can you tease a few upcoming eTown events?**
As of now, we are planning events that are more outdoor-oriented, where people can gather and still maintain a separation. Our first event will be a residents-only food truck event featuring a few of the area's best food trucks. We're also planning some happy-hour type of events that will be outdoors.
**How can current residents stay up-to-date on eTown events?**
I encourage all eTown families to join the [residents-only 'eTown Jacksonville Residents' Facebook Group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/etownjaxresidents/) to stay up-to-date on upcoming events. We also have neighborhood specific Facebook groups for [Del Webb](https://www.facebook.com/groups/delwebbetown/)[, Edison, ](https://www.facebook.com/groups/edisonatetown/)[Kettering](https://www.facebook.com/groups/ketteringatetown/),[Marconi, ](https://www.facebook.com/groups/marconiatetown/)and [Nobel](https://www.facebook.com/groups/nobelatetown/)[.](https://www.facebook.com/groups/delwebbetown/) I will also be sending out event-reminder emails leading up to events.
**How can residents help with the events and/or provide you with recommendations for future ideas?**
I would love help with the events! We are in the process of forming two committees: planning and communications. If any residents are interested in either of those opportunities, or has recommendations for events or vendors, they can email me at [fun@etownjax.com](mailto:fun@etownjax.com). I would love to hear what residents have to say!

I really enjoy kayaking in Ponte Vedra and and hiking in The Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.
**Best vacation you’ve ever been on?**
I went to San Antonio with a friend 3 years ago. We didn't do anything touristy, we went to a few of the local spots, and it ended up being the best time.
**Something exciting that’s happened recently?**
I got engaged and am now planning an October wedding!
**Do you have a nickname?**
"MG" - all my friends and neighbors call me "MG." Sometimes people have a hard time remembering "Mary Grace," so I always encourage people to call me "MG" if that's easier to remember. I'm hoping the folks in eTown will call me "MG" too!
**What do you love about eTown?**
I feel so lucky to be able to facilitate togetherness and a sense of community within eTown by working hand-in-hand with the residents to curate these events together. I can't wait to see what it blossoms in to.
